Update: Version #3 is what we're going with. It's her official appearance for book 2 (with a slight alteration to the attire) and in book 3, she maintains the same style clothes, but lets her hair grow out, looking more like Version 1's hair.
Hey guys, I'm doing a bit of an experiment here. My character Rhiannon from my novel needed a remodeling. Well, maybe she didn't NEED it, but I wanted to redesign her. I felt her previous one was too...Well, let's just say I have a lot of characters with long straight hair, and half of them wear it in a ponytail.
This was originally just going to be a hairstyle test, but I have four completely new looks for her and I can't decide which one to go with. Whichever one I pick will probably still receive a few alterations, but these at least give me a few places to start.
Here is the original Rhia, along with a little bit of info about her if that helps you decide on an image:
It also gives you an idea of the color scheme. (red hair, gold eyes, pale skin)
It's a bit hard to tell since this is a sketch, but she has four tattoos (shadowguard cross on chest, tribal on shoulder, moon things on each hip), a large X-shaped spar across her face, as well as burn scars on the left side of her face and body.
So, what do you think?
Version One: Armored Warrior
Version Two: Cloaked Assassin
Version Three: Dark Seductress
Version Four: Renegade Wench
Mix and match, I don't care. Like the hair from #3 and the clothes from #1? Let me know. I'm looking for opinions here.
(the titles of the versions only reflect the clothing style. Her personality isn't going to change. I think any of the above styles will work for her. I'm partial to #2 and #4 though, just saying)
For those of you wondering, her weapon is a giant scythe.
